If you have not done any kind of transaction in Punjab National Bank for 3 years.

Then after a specified period of time your account will be closed.

Punjab National Bank has given information about this by sharing the post on Facebook.

According to the update issued by the bank, if you have done any kind of transaction in the account for 3 years.

Then your account will be closed.

Paise accounts will be identified on the basis of Aadhaar on April 30, 2024.

The accounts which are not subjected to any kind of transaction for 3 years will be closed without any prior notice.

If any similar transaction in your account is not under process for 3 years then you can contact your nearest branch.

Punjab National Bank will close such bank account without any prior notice.

These accounts will not be closed

Punjab National Bank has clearly stated in its notification that after one month such accounts will be closed without any notice.

However, such accounts which are linked to demat accounts will not be closed.

At the same time, student accounts with customers below 25 years of age and minor accounts opened for schemes like SSY/PMJJY/PMSBY/APY will also not be suspended.
