Odisha Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS Recruitment 2024) has announced the recruitment of 1342 posts of Principal and Teacher in Odisha Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya. The registration process is scheduled to begin from April 1, while the last date for submission of applications is April 30, 2024.

Odisha Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS), under the Department of School and Mass Education, Government of Odisha, invites online applications from candidates to fill the posts of Principals and Teachers in Odisha Adarsh ​​Vidyalayas in the state by direct recruitment.

Age limit as on 01.01.2024 , The date of birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificate will be accepted in the online application only. Any subsequent request for change in date of birth will not be considered.

• For the post of Principal, the age of the candidate should be minimum 32 years and maximum 50 years.
• For the post of teacher, the age of the candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years.

However, in case of SC/ST, Women, SEBC, Ex-Servicemen, relaxation in upper age limit will be given by 5 years and in case of Persons with Disabilities, relaxation in upper age limit will be given by 10 years.

Required educational qualification and experience: With at least 45% from a recognized university master degree & B.Ed

Selection Process : The selection will be done in three stages, which include,

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Interview
• performance test

Application fee for the post of Principal:

• UR and SEBC – Rs 2,000
• SC, ST and PWD – Rs 1,250

Application Fee for Teacher Post:

• UR and SEBC – Rs 1,500
• SC, ST and PWD – Rs 1,000
