MHRB Assam Recruitment 2023 – Online Apply For 571 Posts

Medical and Health Recruitment Board (MHRB), Assam has recently issued a notification for the recruitment of 571 posts including Registrar, Demonstrator, Resident Physician, and more in Government Medical College Hospitals under the Medical Education & Research Department. Departments: Anatomy, Anaesthesiology, Bio-Chemistry, Cardiology, CTVS, Dermatology, Endocrinology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, FSM, Medicine, Medical Oncology, Microbiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Nuclear Medicine, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, O&G, Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Plastic Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Paediatrics, PM & R, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, SPM (Community Medicine), TB & Chest (Pulmonary Medicine), Urology.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 57,700/- to Rs. 1,82,400/- PM (Academic level 10) plus other allowances as per the rules.

Eligibility Criteria of MHRB Assam Recruitment

Age Limit: The minimum age should be 21 years, and the maximum age should be 45 years as of 01/01/2023, irrespective of the category of applicants (as per Govt. OM No.ABP.55/2023/25 dated 04/07/2023).

The upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates as per Govt. Notification No.ABP.144/95/121 dated 28/10/2015.

Educational Qualification:

a. Broad Speciality: Candidates should have a Post Graduate qualification MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject from an institute under any Indian University recognized by the National Medical Commission (previously MCI) / National Board of Education (NBE) for the following Departments:

• Anatomy, Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, FSM, Medicine, Microbiology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, O&G, Pharmacology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, PM & R, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, SPM (Community Medicine), TB & Chest (Pulmonary Medicine), Nuclear Medicine.

For the Anatomy Department, a Post Graduate qualification MS (Anatomy) / MSc (Medical Anatomy) with a PhD in Medical Anatomy is required.

For the Biochemistry Department, a Post Graduate qualification MD (Biochemistry) / MSc (Medical Biochemistry) with a PhD in Medical Biochemistry is required.

For the Physiology Department, a Post Graduate qualification MD (Physiology) / MSc (Medical Physiology) with a PhD in Medical Physiology is required.

b. Super Specialty:

For Medical Super Specialty (Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Medical Oncology), a Post Graduate qualification MD/DNB in General Medicine is required.

For Surgical Super Specialty (Plastic Surgery, CTVS, Neuro-Surgery, Urology, Paediatric Surgery), a Post Graduate qualification MS/DNB in General Surgery is required.

Candidates having DM/ M.Ch./ DNB in the concerned super specialty subject will be given preference/weightage.

Application Fee of MHRB Assam Recruitment

The application must be accompanied by an application fee of Rs. 250/- for General category candidates and Rs. 150/- for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidates.

No application fee is required for candidates having a PWD certificate.

The application fee should be deposited through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0210-Medical and Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt”. The fees are non-refundable, and no other mode of fee deposit other than through Treasury Challan will be accepted.

Alternatively, fees can be deposited online using the Government Receipt Accounting System-GRAS (Website: https://assamegras.gov.in). Candidates may pay the requisite fees through GRAS. The printed copy of the Treasury Challan generated through GRAS should be submitted along with the application form. In the Remarks column, the candidate should mention the post applied for.
