Vacancy Details:

Pay Scale:

The Pay Scale for Assistant Commandant is 56100 as per ICG rules.

Age Limit:

• General Duty: 21 to 25 years.
• Technical: 21 to 25 years.

Age Relaxation:

• Personnel serving in Coast Guard or equivalent personnel in Army / Navy / Air Force: 05 years

Educational Qualification:

1. General Duty:
   • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks.
   • Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XIIth of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with 55% marks in Mathematics and Physics.
2. Technical (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical):
   • B.E/B.Tech with 60% marks in aggregate in relevant discipline or equivalent qualification.
   • Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics.

Selection Process:

1. Computer Based Examination Stage-I (CGCAT)
2. Preliminary Selection (PSB): CCBT, Picture Perception & Discussion Test
3. Final Selection: Psychological Test, Group Task, and Interview
4. Medical Exam
5. Stage-V (Induction): Merit List based on combined marks of Stage-I and Stage-III
