CSIR-NAL RECRUITMENT 2025: APPLY FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT POST

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL) has released an official notification for recruiting Technical Assistants. As per the CSIR-NAL Recruitment 2025 notification, there are 36 vacancies available for this role. Selected candidates will initially serve a probationary period, starting from the date of appointment.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee, whereas all other applicants must pay Rs. 500 as an application fee. The age requirement for applicants is between 18 to 28 years. The selection process includes a Trade Test, and candidates who qualify will be invited to appear for a Competitive Written Examination. The final selection will be based on merit in the written exam. The salary range for the selected candidates will be Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month. Candidates must fulfill the following educational qualifications:

Technical Assistant (Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Technology)

• 3-year full-time Diploma with at least 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience
• OR 2-year full-time Diploma (lateral entry) with at least 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience

Technical Assistant (Mechanical Engineering / Technology)

• 3-year full-time Diploma with at least 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience
• OR 2-year full-time Diploma (lateral entry) with at least 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience

Technical Assistant (Chemical Engineering / Technology)

• 3-year full-time Diploma with at least 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience
• OR 2-year full-time Diploma (lateral entry) with at least 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience

Technical Assistant (Multimedia & Animation)

• B.Sc. in Multimedia and Animation with minimum 60% marks and 1 year of relevant experience
• OR B.Sc. in Multimedia and Animation with minimum 60% marks and 1-year professional qualification

AGE LIMIT

PROBATION PERIOD

Selected candidates will be placed on probation for a specific period from the date of appointment. The probation period may be extended or shortened based on the discretion of the Competent Authority. After successfully completing the probation, candidates will be confirmed as per the organization’s rules.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process consists of two stages:

1. Trade Test
2. Competitive Written Examination

Written Examination Structure

• The test consists of three papers: Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III.
• Paper-II and Paper-III will be evaluated only if candidates secure the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I.
• The final merit list will be based only on marks obtained in Paper-II and Paper-III.
