SSC Recruitment 2024: Notification Out for 960+ Vacancies, Check Post, Age, Qualification, Salary and Process to Apply

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is seeking online applications from eligible and willing candidates for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) under various departments. There are 962 openings to be filled for SSC Recruitment 2024. The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary in Level-6 (₹35,400-₹112,400) of the pay matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission. The selection will be made on the basis of a Computer Based Examination. The details of the examination will be intimated later to the candidates.

As given in the official notification SSC Recruitment 2024, candidates should have a maximum age of up to 32 years to apply for the mentioned post. Candidates have to pay ₹100 as an application fee. The Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and ExServicemen are not required to pay the application fee. Based on the official notification of SSC Recruitment 2024, desirous and willing candidates have to complete their online application on the official website of SSC on or before the last date. • The maximum age limit is up to 32 years to apply for the Central Public Works Department (CPWD).
• The maximum age limit is up to 30 years to apply for the rest of the other departments.

Salary for SSC Recruitment 2024:

• The candidates who are selected for SSC Recruitment 2024 will receive a monthly remuneration in Level-6 (₹35,400-₹112,400) of the pay matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Qualification for SSC Recruitment 2024:

• Candidates must have the required qualification for applying to SSC Recruitment 2024 as mentioned below:

For JE(C)-

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute OR
• Three-Year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute/ Board with Two years of working experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.

For JE (E and M)-

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute OR
• Three years Diploma in Electrical/ Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute/ Board with Two-Year experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works.

Selection Process for SSC Recruitment 2024:

• The candidates will be selected for SSC Recruitment 2024 on the basis of a Computer Based Examination that will be conducted in two papers. The dates of examinations indicated in the Notice are tentative. The candidates can download their admit cards from the official website.

Application Fee for SSC Recruitment 2024:

• The application fee is ₹100 to apply for SSC Recruitment 2024. The Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and ExServicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
