SSC JHT 2023 Paper 2 Date Announced

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revealed the date for Paper 2 of the SSC JHT (Junior Hindi Translator ), Junior Translator, and Senior Hindi Translator Examination 2023. This examination is scheduled to take place on December 31. Only candidates who have successfully cleared Paper 1 of the SSC JHT 2023 exam are eligible to appear for Paper 2.

SSC JHT 2023 Paper 2 Details

• Paper 2 will be of descriptive type.
• It will include questions on translation and essay.
• The examination will be two hours long and carry 200 marks.
• Candidates are advised to ensure they correctly write their roll number on the answer sheet.

SSC JHT 2023 Merit List and Department Allocation

• The final merit list will be prepared based on candidates’ performance in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of SSC JHT 2023.
• Department allocation will be determined by candidates’ ranks in the merit list and their preference choices.

SSC JHT 2023 Document Verification

• Candidates who make it to the final merit list will undergo the document verification stage.
• Document verification will be conducted by the user department to which a candidate has been allotted.
• During this process, candidates must present original copies of the required documents to verify their eligibility.
• Fulfilling all eligibility criteria is essential for recruitment.

SSC JHT 2023 Paper 1 Overview

• Paper 1 of SSC JHT 2023 consisted of objective-type questions.
• It included questions from General Hindi and General English, with 100 questions each.
• Each question carried one mark, and there was a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
• Candidates had two hours to complete Paper 1.
• After the conduct of Paper 1, the SSC issued a provisional answer key and invited objections from candidates, who had to submit Rs 100 to challenge each question in the provisional answer key.
