Aquaculture– Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) in Aquaculture/ Fish Genetics & Breeding/ Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology/ Fish Physiology & Biochemistry with specialization in Fish Nutrition/ Fish Biotechnology with specialization in Aquaculture. – Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science approved by ICAR. – ICAR/UGC/CSIR NET mandatory. – PhD in the relevant subject.
Fishing Technology– Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) in Fisheries Engineering & Technology/ Fishing Technology and Fisheries Engineering. – Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science approved by ICAR. – ICAR/UGC/CSIR NET mandatory. – PhD in the relevant subject.
Fisheries Extension, Economics & Statistics– Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) in Fisheries Extension/ Fisheries Economics/ Fisheries Business Management/ MBA Agri-Business Management/ MFSc in any discipline with research experience in Fisheries Statistics. – Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science approved by ICAR. – ICAR/UGC/CSIR NET mandatory. – PhD in the relevant subject.

Salary Details

With NET/PhD:

  • Rs. 1500/- per hour for theory sessions
  • Rs. 750/- per hour for practical sessions
  • Maximum of Rs. 3000/- per day and Rs. 50,000/- per month

Without NET/PhD:

  • Rs. 1000/- per hour for theory sessions
  • Rs. 500/- per hour for practical sessions
  • Maximum of Rs. 2000/- per day and Rs. 32,000/- per month
