Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Assistant Quality Control Officer post, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience:

Educational Qualifications:

• The candidate must hold a Master’s Degree in Chemistry or an equivalent discipline from a recognized Indian University or Institute through regular full-time education.
• The degree should be in one of the following fields of Chemistry:

  • Analytical Chemistry
  • Physical Chemistry
  • Applied Chemistry
  • Industrial Chemistry
• Other fields like Biochemistry, Pharmacy, and Toxicology are not considered eligible.

Experience:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of cumulative experience in the following areas:

• Testing, R&D, and Quality Control in Petroleum/Petrochemical/Polymer/Fertilizer Unit Laboratories.
• Experience in an NABL-accredited laboratory in the field of Chemical Testing, particularly in the area of Lubricants/Petroleum and Products.
• Teaching and research experience in an academic institute is not considered relevant.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidates for the position will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000. The gross annual salary package is approximately Rs. 13.25 lakhs, which includes performance-related pay (PRP). In addition, the following benefits are offered:

• Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances based on the rules of the Corporation.
• Housing Accommodation (HRA) based on the place of posting.

Service Bond:

Candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Corporation for at least three years. The bond amount is Rs. 2 Lakhs (Rs. 35,000 for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and EWS candidates).
