The minimum age for new recruitment in the Income Tax Department has been kept at 18 years and the maximum age at 27 years.

Age will be calculated as on 9th August 2024 as per the official notification.

As per government rules, special relaxation in age limit has been provided to reserved categories.

• Stenographer:- 12th Pass.
• Tax Assistant:- Graduate degree.

Apart from this, it is mandatory for the applicants for all three posts to have sports qualification.
