RRC Central Railway has introduced a total of 2409 Apprentice Vacancies. The table below displays the division-wise distribution of vacancies, indicating the division name and the corresponding number of vacancies for each. The selected apprentices will be engaged in various trades.

Pay Scale

The selected candidates will receive a stipend as per Government Rules for apprentices.

Age Limit (as on 29/08/2023)

Applicants should meet the age criteria as of 29/08/2023 to be eligible for the posts. The age limits are as follows:

• Apprentice: 15 to 24 years

Age Relaxation

There is relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to specific categories:

• Scheduled Cast / Scheduled Tribe (SC / ST): 05 years
• Other Backward Classes (OBC): 03 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 10th standard (with a minimum of 50% marks) or an equivalent qualification under the 10+2 examination system. Additionally, they must possess a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
