Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced the APPSC Group 2 Notification 2023 for the recruitment of 897 Group 2 posts, comprising 331 Executive and 566 Non-Executive posts. The official notification was released on December 7, 2023, and the online application process will begin from December 21, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: 18 to 42 years with relaxation for reserved categories.
• Qualification: Graduation in any discipline.

Selection Process: The selection process includes Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, Computer Proficiency Test, and Document Verification.

Exam Pattern:

• Preliminary Exam: 150 MCQs (150 marks) covering History, Geography, Indian Society, Current Affairs, Mental Ability.
• Mains Exam: Two papers with 150 MCQs each (300 marks) covering Social History of Andhra Pradesh, Indian Constitution, Indian Economy, Science & Technology.
• Computer Proficiency Test: 100 marks test for Office Automation.

Syllabus: The detailed syllabus covers topics in Ancient, Medieval, and Modern History, Geography, Indian Society, Current Affairs, Mental Ability, Social History of Andhra Pradesh, Indian Constitution, Indian Economy, Science & Technology.

Salary: The salary for Executive and Non-Executive posts ranges from Rs. 16,400 to Rs. 80,930 as per the 7th Pay Commission.
