The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has announced new job openings for multiple positions.

C-DAC Recruitment 2025 for Multiple Positions

C-DAC has released a recruitment notification for eligible candidates interested in the positions of Executive Director and Scientist C. There are a total of 13 vacancies available. The maximum age for the Executive Director position is 50 years, while for Scientist C, it is 33 years.

Candidates selected for the Executive Director role will receive a salary at Level 14, while Scientist C appointees will be compensated under Level 11. The required qualifications and experience for each role are listed below.

As per the official notification, selected candidates will be assigned to Kolkata, Mohali, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune. The selection process includes a written exam, multi-level interviews, and group discussions. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for further evaluation.

The application fee for C-DAC Recruitment 2025 is ₹500, but SC/ST/PWD and female candidates are exempted from this fee. Eligible candidates must submit their applications through the official C-DAC website along with the required documents before the deadline.

Executive Director

For Direct Recruitment:

• Engineering graduate (BE/BTech) in a relevant discipline OR
• Postgraduate in Engineering (ME/MTech) in a relevant discipline OR
• PhD in a relevant discipline

Relevant Disciplines:

• Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Communications, Electrical, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, or allied fields.

For Transfer (Absorption) / Deputation:

• Officers from Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies with:
  • Equivalent positions held on a regular basis OR
  • 5 years of service in Pay Level-13A
  • Possessing required qualifications as mentioned above

Experience Required:

• BE/B.Tech: 20 years
• ME/M.Tech: 15 years
• PhD: 10 years

Scientist C (Level 11)

• First-class BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent in a relevant discipline OR
• Postgraduate in Engineering/Technology in a relevant field OR
• First-class MSc in relevant domain OR
• PhD in a relevant discipline

Experience Required:

• BE/BTech/MCA: 3 years
• ME/MTech: 1 year
• MSc: 3 years
• PhD: No experience required

Age Limit

• PWD candidates: 10 years of relaxation
• Government employees: 5 years relaxation

For Deputation/Transfer (Absorption):
