UPSC RECRUITMENT 2025 FOR COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION

The UPSC has announced openings for the positions of Medical Officers Grade Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, General Duty Medical Officer, and General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II. According to the official notification, a total of 705 vacancies are available. Candidates must have passed both the written and practical components of the final M.B.B.S. Examination. The selection process consists of two stages: a Written Examination and a Personality Test. The selected candidates will receive a salary starting at Rs. 56,100 in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC, along with other applicable allowances.

Candidates, except those belonging to Female/SC/ST/PwBD categories (who are exempt from payment), must pay an application fee of Rs. 200. The payment can be made through the following modes:

• Cash deposit at any SBI branch
• Net banking of any bank
• Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card
• UPI Payment

Candidates opting for “Pay by cash” must generate a Pay-in slip during Part-II registration and make the payment at an SBI branch on the next working day. This option will be deactivated at 11:59 PM on 10th March 2025. However, those who generate a Pay-in slip before this deadline may still make the payment during SBI banking hours on the closing date.
